Tiếng ViệtSpring, the season of blooming flowers. In the bustling atmosphere of the last days of the year, everyone is busy packing up their work to prepare for the New Year, somewhere the spring scent is gently coming over the S-shaped strip of land with the fresh colors of the changing seasons.
Every time Tet comes, Spring comes, our Thiên Long company always pays special attention to preparing gifts for poor student who overcome difficulties to study well, students at schools with difficult circumstances, families of meritorious people, families with policies, poor households, near-poor households…. Earlier this year, our Thiên Long company donated more than 260 gifts with a total gift value of nearly 300 million VND to Ngan Son district and Cho Moi district, Bac Kan province.
An emotional and memorable journey!
In the early days of 2024 (31-1-2024), in the rainy and cold weather, traveling nearly 200 kilometers from Hanoi city, our car crossed winding roads around the mountains in the Northeast region.
Along the way, the peach blossoms had just begun to bloom, nearly 10 volunteers from Thiên Long company were present in Trung Hoa, Coc Dan, Thuan Mang, Thuong Quan, Hiep Luc, Na Phac town, Van Tung, Ngan Son district, Bac Kan province to organize the program “Connecting love, sharing the community – giving Tet gifts to the poor people in the Northeast region”.
On February 1st, 2024, our charity continued to give Tet gifts to people living in difficult circumstances in the localities of the communes and communes: Hòa Mục, Tân Sơn, Cao Kỳ, Như Cố, Yên Cư, Yên Hân, Bình Văn, Thanh Thịnh, Nông Hạ, Quảng Chu, Cho Moi district, Bac Kan Province.
Despite the rainy weather, our team received the enthusiastic and attentive reception and support of the Directorate of the Department of Commerce and Construction of the province of Bac Kan and the head of the Commissioner, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the heads of local villages and municipalities. Every piece of gift we give to the people is rice, fish sauce, soy juice, seasoning, sugar, oil, candy… Even though each gift is of little material value, for the people, it really means something, helping their families to relieve some of the burden of spending in the days of the coming New Year, the coming Spring. This is also a source of spiritual encouragement, to share with the people who are less fortunate circumstances, so that they will have a happy, warmer New Year.
Over 90% of the people in our communes are ethnic minorities, such as Tay, Nung… The people here live mostly from hard work, forestry, poor income. When daily meals are still a concern, preparing for a full New Year, shopping for nice clothes is still a challenge for many households in difficult circumstances here. That’s what motivates us – Thien Long company – to do these practical and meaningful charitable trips.
Representatives of local leaders expressed their gratitude to all volunteers, who were not afraid of long distance, difficult roads during these cold days: “We thank you for all your love, a member of the vonlunteer group, brought love and sharing to people during the cold winter days. The conditions of the people here are very difficult, when receiving the gifts from the good hearts, people are very excited. These gifts will give great motivation to the people and make sure that this New Year you will feel much warmer and happier. Hopefully next time, the local community will continue to receive the attention of the charity as well as the charities.”
The handshakes, the warm hugs, the smiles and the thanks, the sad farewell and the grief of the people made our members of the charity feel happy. It’s probably the common happiness of all those who do charity, with us Thien Long company “giving is forever”.
